🇺🇦 Helping Ukraine: Organisations you can support
Hi all 👋🏾,
As I’m sure you know, much of Ukraine has now become a war zone, with civilian areas being targeted and leaving over a million people fleeing the country to find safety (many more are still trying to flee or are hiding).
I understand that moments like these can leave us feeling paralysed - wanting to help but not knowing how to. Especially when you’re far away.
Given what’s happening, I’ve decided to share some resources to help anyone that is interested support the people of Ukraine. Below is a list of organisations, charities and fundraising appeals that you can donate to.
Donation points across the UK - The Independent have pulled together a list of shops, organisations and churches that are collecting donations across the UK. Giving you plenty of options to donate clothing and other necessary supplies.
Jack’s Flight Club - are matching £10,000 of combined donations to any organisations supporting Ukraine. DM them on their social media channels or share a picture of your donation and they’ll match it. They’ve also recommended organisations that you can donate to.

United help Ukraine - they are distributing donations, food and medical supplies internally to refugees, the people of Ukraine affected by the war and families of the wounded or killed.
Revived Soldiers Ukraine - are dedicated to providing aid to the people of Ukraine in support of their fundamental human rights and medical rehabilitation of Ukrainian soldiers. They are funding medical supplies for army hospitals on the front line.
The British Red Cross - is raising funds for food, medical supplies, shelter and water. They’re distributing 30,000 food and hygiene parcels so far, and helping evacuate people with disabilities.
Fundraiser for black and minority people fleeing Ukraine - you may have seen reports of black and minority people being racially discriminated against as they have tried to cross the Polish border. Many have been pulled off trains and denied entry simply because of the colour of their skin. This fundraiser has been started to provide them with food accommodation and travel.
UNHCR - is funding emergency shelters, repairs for homes damaged by shelling, emergency cash assistance, psychological support and warm clothing.
Unicef - helping to ensure families have clean water and food and that child health and protection services continue.
Save the Children - providing cash assistance, food and other support to refugees crossing into Romanian and Lithuania, as well as in Ukraine itself.
Disasters Emergency Committee - this is an umbrella group for 15 leading UK charities and they are running an appeal. Donations will be doubled by the government up to a total of £20m.
